When Stonybrook Realty opened in their office in the heart of Long Valley, Melissa set out to join the office - hoping to welcome newcomers into the homes of Long Valley and nearby towns, and help new and current residents make prepared decisions about where they wish to call home. As THE real estate office of Long Valley, Stonybrook’s truly personal approach to doing business captures the essence of Long Valley living.
Having spent most of her life residing and working in the north Jersey counties of Passaic, Essex and Bergen, Melissa moved to beautiful Long Valley with her husband and children in 2014. In Long Valley (designated within Washington Township of Morris County), she discovered a hidden gem...a place to enjoy the small-town feel of a tight-knit community, gorgeous landscapes of hills, valleys, farms, mountains and streams with city conveniences close-by, in addition to highly rated schools and a ranking of one of the safest towns to raise a family in New Jersey.
Melissa joined the workforce by assisting real estate attorneys and accountants, and worked as a sales manager for a home decor business, helping customers dress their homes. Melissa then earned a Bachelor’s degree in business management and led a career as Human Resources Director with national and global marketing and public relations agencies. Her talents included recruitment, training & development, counseling staff and management, and problem solving...all of which she continues to practice as a real estate agent.
Melissa is a member of the Garden State Multiple Listing Service (GSMLS) and of the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors? (NCJAR).
